Challenge – After two decades of award-winning, independent broadcasting, MBC had the challenge of expanding the landscape of broadcasting for a fast growing global audience. MBC was running a Superhero Movie season for 13 weeks, one movie being shown every week. MBC wanted to promote the Superhero Movie season by reaching out to a wider audience through Facebook. The idea was to have an exciting game promoting the Superhero movie characters that would appeal to gaming enthusiasts and other Facebook users alike.
Idea -Kreata Global came up with a gripping game wherein the player could choose from any of the nine Superheroes to play the game. The player i.e. the Superhero had to overcome obstacles and save a child from the enemy to win. On successful completion of the game, the players could upload their photograph to create a poster, in which they appeared in a Superhero outfit. This Superhero avatar of the player could be then posted on to his/her wall.
Result – 4926 Facebook users played this game and the number of fans almost doubled during this period. At present the page has more than 100,000 fans.
